Jeremy Rudge Saddlery Ltd. has been making high quality, made-to-measure saddles and girths since 1989. Master Saddler Jeremy Rudge believes that the secret of made-to-measure saddles lies in the fit of the tree – the internal frame on which the saddle is built. The manufacturing process, therefore, depends on selecting the tree which conforms best to the type and conformation of the horse's back. The saddle - whether for dressage, jumping, cross-country or general purpose - is then crafted according to the horse & rider's specifications.

JR FLIGHT

This tree is designed for the Thoroughbred-type horse with a high wither, fairly narrow spine and a back that slopes away from the spine at an angle.

Flight saddles are available in Dressage, Jumping, All-Purpose and Cross-Country models.

FLIGHT DRESSAGE SADDLE

The Flight Dressage offers stability and comfort for the Thoroughbred-type horse with a deep seat and wool-flocked panels. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with different flap lengths and thigh blocks.

JR FB

This tree has plenty of room for a high wither, but accommodates a broader back on less of a slope away from the spine, as seen on many Warmbloods. Especially suitable as a jumping or All-Purpose saddle.

FB JUMPING SADDLE

A comfortable, well-balanced saddle with an open, medium-deep seat and wool-flocked panels. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with three different flaps and small, medium, or large knee and calf blocks.

JR FUSION

Fusion trees work well with the modern warmblood type with an decent wither and broader back. The standard panel has a special short gusset for optimum weight distribution.

Dressage, Jumping, All-Purpose, and Cross-Country saddles are available.

Particularly popular for fitting the modern warmblood type with an decent wither and broader back, the Fusion Dressage features a medium-deep seat, open head and wool-flocked panels. Flap length and panels can be customized to provide a comfortable, well-balanced saddle. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with different flap lengths and thigh blocks.

A saddle well-suited to the modern sport horse, featuring large front blocks and a 'scoopy' open seat to allow for rider freedom over a variety of fences and terrain. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with different flap lengths and amount of forward cut.

JR REMY

This tree accommodates a high wither, but broadens out more quickly than the Fusion tree; suiting many of the modern Warmbloods and Sport Horses.

REMY DRESSAGE SADDLE

A comfortable, well-balanced saddle with a medium or deep seat (shown) and wool-flocked panels. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with three different flaps and small, medium, or large knee and calf blocks.

REMY CROSS-COUNTRY SADDLE

A comfortable, well-balanced saddle with an open seat and wool-flocked panels. Shallow or deeper seat available. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with three different flaps and small, medium, or large knee and calf blocks.

The Pace tree is best suited to the large Warmblood-type horse with a medium wither. It is similar to the FB tree in some ways and works especially well as a dressage or VSD saddle.

PACE DRESSAGE

The Pace is based on the German style saddle and features a medium-deep seat, open head and wool-flocked panels. Flap length and panel balance can be customized. Also available in a Mono-flap version. Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown with different flap lengths and thigh blocks.

The MF tree has been developed to fit short-backed, broad horses such as Arabians, the Spanish breeds and some  Warmbloods - allowing a bigger seat size to fit a short back.
